Subject: aslbase
Hi
I was recently told that declaring aslbase locally before you set it equal
to the opened library base address is DISASTROUS!
Are there any more things in modules, apart from constants that are declared
globally - also except for library base pointers.
I wouldnt want to use em in my code and make the same mistake twice.

Subject: Re: Keyboard Intercept
Sounds like a good job for a commodity here! They get the input events
before intuition, so it`s just a matter of remapping the keyboard
events to a whole bunch of input events corresponding to the keypresses
you want instead... assuming you are running os2+
Otherwise, you`ll jut have to rite an interrupt timed to the keyboard
and go patch that... not entirely sure how to do this not, but I did
it once in assembler...
Come to think of it, the easiest way would just create a new keymap
(there are some pd editors) that bound the new keys to the presses,
if you can do this in your term software.

You tit!!!!
What is the point of having a gfx interface if you don`t use any graphics?
The amiga`s biggest problem is it isn`t graphical _enough_, things
are too removed to be recognisable.... and when I see a * in a box the
last thing I think of is the established "getfile" symbol!
Wise up! Get your interfaces in order!

I do have ftp access, however when I went onto the Aminet today, I could not
find it. What is it called? Where is it? Could you please mail it anyway so I
don't have to keep asking these dumb questions? :-)
